My background is in the restaurant industry, where my family has operated Pho Binh Minh for more than 30 years. Seeing my parents dedicate themselves to their customers and community inspired me from a young age to embrace that same entrepreneurial spirit
I first discovered Mission while working at Holy Cross Hospital and immediately fell in love with the character of 4th Street. The independent businesses, walkability, and strong sense of community were beautiful. When the time came to open my own cafe, I knew it had to be there.
Running the café allowed me to become a true part of the community, providing a space where people could gather and connect. It also gave me the opportunity to stay actively involved with the 4th Street Business Revitalization Zone and the local business community. One of the moments I remember most was being nominated by members of the community for Avenue Magazine's Top 40 Under 40. The support and encouragement behind that nomination was something I will always be grateful for.
Following the 2013 flood, I made the difficult decision to close the cafe. After some reflection on what I wanted to build next, an introduction from my now partner led to the opportunity to open a Vietnamese fusion restaurant in the Beltline. The space had its own remarkable history, it was the birthplace of George Stanley, the designer of the Canadian flag and it became more than just a restaurant. It was an opportunity to share that history, connect with the community, and build relationships with the people who walked through the door.
The restaurant taught me that the most meaningful measure of success is the relationships you build along the way. When the restaurant was reviewed by John Gilchrist and featured in the Calgary Herald, the recognition meant a great deal because it reflected the support of customers, neighbours, and friends.
After years in hospitality, I eventually sold the restaurant and began thinking seriously about my next chapter. Real estate felt like a natural extension of the relationships and community I had spent years building.
As a REALTOR® with REMAX House of Real Estate, I help clients make confident decisions about where they live, invest, and build their future. Whether you’re buying your first home, moving across the city, investing in real estate, or selling a property you’ve owned for years, my role is to provide clear advice, honest guidance, and strong representation every step of the way.
My approach is straightforward: listen carefully, communicate openly, and advocate fiercely for my clients. Real estate transactions are some of the most important financial decisions people make, and I believe clients deserve an advisor who is knowledgeable, accessible, and committed to protecting their best interests.
